Euro Catering Directors, Mel & Tim Charlton recently had the pleasure of sponsoring a local Race Night charity event. They also attended on the night to show support and present prizes!
Event Organiser & Promoter, Stephen Roberston sent a letter expressing their gratitude and to give the final results from the night –
“ I just wanted to place on record my personal thanks and appreciation to you for your sponsorship and support of Race Night.
I am delighted to be able to say that from all income sources a total of £3,074.55 was raised. This virtually doubles my hoped for amount meaning that a defibrillator and housing box can be purchased and installed without needing to organise another fundraising event. It also permits a larger than anticipated donation to The British Heart Foundation.
Additionally, it allows us to offer greater financial support to Heartwize enabling them to further their aim to “Create a Generation of Life-Savers”, starting with training 120 people who live and/or work in Gilmorton or have other links to the village, in CPR and Defibrillator usage.
