The appreciation for our recent Aristarco Dishwasher donation is welcome, but the gratitude really needs to be given to them for their hard work and dedication in the community.
When asked why Euro Catering made the donation in their latest press release, our director Melanie Charlton said, “Knowing that The Bridge supports people experiencing homelessness and runs a Community Café really shaped our decision. In a place where meals are prepared and shared, something like a dishwasher isn’t just a convenience – it helps keep things running smoothly and hygienically. If donating it could free up time and energy for what really matters, caring for people, then it felt like the right thing to do.”
Knowing a simple piece of equipment can help play a small role in supporting people who are going through an incredibly difficult time, really puts things into perspective. We supply/sell to predominately hospitality, leisure and retail businesses. So, restaurants of all levels, takeaways, supermarkets etc. Places where food is sold to customers who aren’t worried where their next meal is coming from, let alone where they will be sleeping that night. To know we have now helped with the opposite end of the catering world. The essential end. The actual need… not the “want”. That’s what counts. 💚
