We were contacted in mid 2025 by WW Brown & Son regarding assisting in the kitchen redevelopment of the beautiful Sibbertoft Manor‘s kitchen.
Just six miles from Market Harborough, Sibbertoft Manor residential nursing home is nestled amongst stunning countryside with its own beautiful gardens. It accommodates 40 residents and prides itself on being a Home from Home. There is a huge focus on providing fresh and nutritious food to all residents, with the brochure stating – “Every day, the menus offer fresh fish, meat and vegetarian
dishes. All meals are cooked on the premises. Soup, pastries, cakes and crumbles are all homemade. We buy the very best produce. We happily cater for special dietary requirements. All our menus are discussed with residents to ensure everyone gets exactly what they want.“
The full redevelopment plans on the permanent kitchen included completely tearing it out plus extensively extending the space! Sales Manager Steve Lane, and Technical Service Manager Lee Hillyard, attended Sibbertoft Manor along with Mark from WW Brown and Tony from Cater Link to discuss the best possible plan and layout, to optimise workflow and efficiency in this bustling kitchen.
Down time wasn’t an option! Sibbertoft Manor required a fully functioning kitchen throughout this entire process, even when the main kitchen was ripped back to a shell. So a temporary kitchen was created in a rental portacabin sited on the Manors grounds. Fully equipped with everything they needed to keep the residents as well fed as they are accustom to, while the main kitchen is under development.
We knew when it came down to whatever fabrication, and installation would be required for both the temp and main kitchen, we’d want to call in the experts! That’s where our good friends at Caterlink come in!

Sibbertoft Manor marked the grand opening of the kitchen by baking a rather fabulous cake in their new Giorik Kore KM101W Slimline Combi Oven and sharing the news on their Facebook page, as seen below.

Sibbertoft Manor spoke more about the kitchen extension in their latest Newsletter. Explaining that is wasn’t all smooth sailing as they adapted to temporary life in the mobile kitchen, but praised everyone involved for the organisation, effort and hard work that went into each day!
It’s clear the kitchen is surpassing all expectations from their statement below, and we are so grateful to have played such a integral role in this process.
