Cheshire-based Cheerbrook Farm Shop is enjoying multiple benefits from a considered and streamlined kitchen fit-out that we recently masterminded.

 

The stunning farm shop, which says it “eats, sleeps and breathes food every day”, had created a demand that its existing kitchen could not fulfil.  After a recommendation from another farm shop, it contacted Euro Catering’s Franco Sparano, and asked for his recommendations with regard to re-design and improvement.

 

Franco’s design has worked magic – making the Cheerbrook kitchen appear much bigger than before, even though it is the same size!  It now incorporates a Palux stainless steel cooking line complete with induction plates and ultra-efficient fryers, alongside a Giorik super-slim, 10-rack Kompatto combi-oven and a Giorik Hi-Lite salamander grill.

 

 

The former electrical equipment, which ate up the energy budget, has been completely replaced.  Cheerbrook is now seeing a reduction in its energy usage, thanks to efficient induction and combi-oven cooking, and the kitchen enjoys a more pleasant working environment, with heat on demand reducing the temperature significantly.

 

This is great news for the hugely popular farm shop near Nantwich, which tempts customers in for breakfast delights such as the ‘Cheerbrook Heights Benedict Tower’, morning coffees and cakes, a range of tasty lunches, including dishes of the day, and delicious afternoon cream teas.

 

The majority of dishes served on the menu are made by the Cheerbrook team, using the farm’s own fresh meat and other ingredients sourced from local farmers and producers.  Additionally, it has its own range of ready meals and the creation and cooking of these is also carried out in the super new commercial kitchen.

 

Owners Andrew and Sarah Shufflebotham are delighted with their new equipment, its capabilities and its energy-efficiency. With the flexible, low-footprint Giorik combi-oven, they can rustle up a large number of different meals and accompaniments, whilst having more room to manoeuvre and a better flow of ‘traffic’ around the kitchen.
